Ahad PRTE UI with L/T

There is an L/T button at the bottom right corner of the screen for translation from Latin transliteration (L) to Indonesian and English text (T).
Latin transliteration is provided so that users who cannot read Arabic can still recite easily, with vocal pronunciations shown for guidance. Examples include:

Indonesian equivalents: ra = ro, qa = qo, sha = sho, kha = kho, dha = dla/dlo, zha = dha/dho, gha = gho/ga/go

English equivalents: ii = ee, uu = oo, au = aw, ay = ai, sy = sh, dh = d, th = t, dz = zh/z, sh = ts/s

Translations of the text are available in Indonesian and English for deeper understanding.

Usage of the Ahad PRTE App

  1. In Setting menu, select the APP QR code to scan with smartphone to download Ahad PRTE App.
    Other option: Play Store for Android to download Ahad PRTE App, or App Store for iOS to download Ahad PRTE App.
  2. Once downloaded, select permissions to access Camera, Photos and videos, and Location, and ensure Bluetooth is connected.
  3. To use for the first time: Once the Ahad PRTE App is open, tap PRTE (bottom right), then tap Connect, then tap Connect again until a green checkmark appears indicating a successful connection. Will then display a flashing message “There is a new version available – Please click to upgrade.” to be tapped, however, if the battery in the gadget or/and smartphone below 50%, will then show a notification to recharge first at the bottom part so that not to corrupt the firmware. Then, tap the green checkmark “Confirm Upgrade” to download the updated firmware by following the instructions in the mini-video.
  4. Once the software is updated, tap the Ahad PRTE gadget image to change the screensaver to personal screensaver with two options: Take photo or Select from album. Below, there are three time duration settings that can be selected by swiping right or left. These settings automatically turn off the screensaver (s = second) or the gadget (m = minute) according to the user’s preference.
  5. Below Tasbih icon is a small hexagon for adjusting salah time for Government agencies or Islamic organizations in the destination country. However, these salah times are linked to PrayTimes.org (public domain), which is not updated regularly, so the salah times are inaccurate. As a Note in the User Manual, it is recommended to recheck the local salah times in the region and country where about before salah.
  6. Like any other Apps, the Ahad PRTE App also includes a notification to inform if any software update is needed for improvements or additional functionality.
