1.Prayer waking up:
AlhamdulillaHil ladzii ahyaanaa ba’da maa amaatanaa wa ilaiHin nusyuur.
Praise be to Allah, the Lord who gave us life after He put us to death. To Him is the resurrection of the Day of Judgment.
2.Prayer before bed:
BismikallaHumma ahyaa wa bismika amuut.
In the name of Allah who gives life and causes death.
3.Prayer for leaving the house:
BismillaHi tawakkaltu ‘alal laHi laa haula wa laa quwwata illaa billaaH.
In the name of Allah, I put my trust in Allah, I have no power to obtain benefits and no power to resist harm except with Allah’s help.
4.Prayer to enter house:
AllaHumma innii as-aluka khairal mauliji wa khairal makhraj, bismillaHi wa lajnaa, bismillaHi kharajnaa, wa ‘alallaHi rabbanaa tawakkalnaa.
O Allah, truly I ask You for goodness in the place of entry and goodness in the place of exit, with the mention of Your name we enter, with the mention of Your name we go out, and only in Allah, our Lord, do we put our trust.
5.Prayer for traveling:
AllaaHumma innaa nas-aluka salaamatan fid-diin, wa ‘aafiyatan fil jasadi wa ziyaadatan fil ‘ilmi wa barakatan firrizqi wa taubatan qablal maut, warahmatan ‘indal maut, wamaghfiratan ba’dal maut, allaaHumma Hawwin ‘alainaa fii sakaraatil maut, wan najaata minannaar, wal ‘afwa ‘indal hisaab, rabbanaa laa tuzigh quluubanaa ba’da idz Hadaitanaa wa Hablanaa min ladunka rahmatan innaka antal waHHaab, rabbanaa aaatinaa fid-dunyaa hasanataw wa fil aakhirati hasanataw wa qinaa ‘adzaabannaar.
O Allah, we ask You for safety in religion, physical health, increase in knowledge, blessings in sustenance, acceptance of repentance before death, compassion when death, and forgiveness after death. O Allah, make it easy for us to face the hardships of death and deliverance from hell, and forgiveness when reckoning comes. O Allah, do not doubt our hearts after You have given us guidance and give us love from You, indeed You are the Giver. Our Lord, give us goodness in this world and the hereafter and protect us from the torment of hell.
6.Prayer before eating:
AllaHumma baarik lanaa fiimaa razaqtanaa wa qinaa ‘adzaabannaar.
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. O Allah, bless the sustenance that You have given us, and grant us better sustenance than that and protect us from the torment of hellfire.
7.Prayer after meal:
Alhamdu lillaHil ladzii ath-‘amanaa wa saqaanaa wa ja ‘alanaa minal muslimiin.
Praise be to Allah who has fed us and given us drink, and made us among the obedient people.
8.Prayer for Parents:
AllaaHummaghfirlii wa liwaalidayya war hamHumaa kamaa rabbayaanii shaghiiraa.
O my God, forgive me and my parents (my mother and father), love them as they loved me when I was little.
9.Prayer for own self when sick:
BismillaaHi a ’uudzu bi ‘izzatillaaHi wa qudratiHi min syarri maa ajidu wa uhaadzir.
In the name of Allah, I seek refuge in the majesty and power of Allah, from the evil of this disease that I am suffering from.
10.Prayer for the sick:
SyafakallaaHu/syafakillaaHu saqamaka wa ghafara dzanbaka wa ’aafaaka fii diinika wa jismika ila mud-dati ajalik.
O (mention the name of the sick person), may Allah heal you, forgive your sins, and bless you in terms of your religion and your physical being throughout your life.
11.Prayer for sick Parents:
AllaaHummasyfi abaa wa ummatii minad daa-i wa qiHimaa makruuHal alami wa rafiq biHimaa fil ‘aafiyaH.
O Allah, heal our father and mother from illness, spare them from unpleasant pain, and give them tenderness when they are healthy.
12.Prayer for ease and success in this world and the hereafter:
AllaaHummalthuf bii fii taisiiri kulli ‘asiirin fa inna taisiira kulli ‘asiirin ‘alaika yasiir, wa as-alukal yusra wal mu ‘aafaata fid-dunyaa wal akhiraH.
O Allah, grant me guidance, virtue, or gentleness in terms of ease in every difficulty, because indeed the ease in every difficult thing is easy for You, and I ask for ease and protection in this world and in the hereafter.
13.Prayer for ease fortune:
AllaaHumma inni ashbahtu usyHiduka wa usyHidu hamalata ‘arsyik, wa malaa-ikataka wa jamii ‘a khalqik, annaka antallaaHu laa ilaaHa illaa anta wahdaka laa syariikalak, wa anna muhammadan ‘abduka wa rasuuluk.
O Allah, I have entered a new morning and called upon You and upon the bearers of Your Throne, upon Your angels and all creation to bear witness that surely You are Allah, there is none worthy of worship but You alone. You have no partners, and that Muhammad is Your slave and Your Messanger.
14.Prayer easy wishes:
Laa haula wa laa quwwata illaa billaaHil ‘aliyyil ‘azhiim, yaa qadiimu yaa daaimu yaa fardu yaa watru yaa ahadu yaa shamadu yaa hayyu yaa qayyuum, yaa dzal jalaali wal ikraam.
There is no power and strength except from Allah, the Most High, the Most Great. O the Most Ancient, the Most Eternal, the Most Unique, the Most Odd, the One and Only, the One Who Depends, the One Who The All-Sufficient One, O One Who Possesses Majesty and Glory.
15.Prayer makes all matters easier:
Yaa hayyu yaa qayyuumu birahmatika astaghiitsu wa ashlih lii sya’nii kullaHu wa laa takilnii ila nafsii tharfata ‘ainin abadaa.
O Almighty Rabb, O Stand Alone Rabb (no need for everything), with Your grace I ask for help, fix all my affairs and do not leave them to me for even the blink of an eye without getting help from You forever.
16.Prayer to be safe from all matters and not be embarrassed:
AllaaHumma ahsin ‘aaqibatanaa fil umuuri kullaHaa, wa ajirnii/ajirnaa min khizyid-dunyaa wa ‘adzaabil aaakhiraH.
O Allah, make all our things end well, and save us from receiving shame in this world and punishment in the afterlife.
17.Prayer to sweep the universe:
Rabbanaa aaatinaa fid-dunyaa hasanataw wa fil aaakhirati hasanataw wa qinaa ‘adzaaban naar.
O our Lord, give us goodness in this world and the hereafter and protect us from the torment of hell.
18.Prayer of a Thousand Dinars:
Wamay yattaqillaHa yaj’al laHuu makhrajaa, wa yarzuqHu min haitsu laa yahtasib, wa may yatawakkal ‘alallaHi faHuwa hasbuH, innallaHa baalighu amriH, qad ja ‘alallaHu likulli syai-in qadraa.
Whoever is mindful of Allah, He will make a way out for him, and He will provide him with a blessing from an unexpected direction. Whoever relies on Allah, He will be sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His purpose. Indeed, Allah has made a measure for everything.
