Tahlil and Takbir

Text:

Surah Al-Ikhlaash (3x):

  1. Say, “He is God, the One.
  2. God, the Absolute.
  3. He begets not, nor was He begotten.
  4. And there is none comparable to Him.”

There is no god but God, and God is the Greatest.

Surah Al-Falaq:

  1. Say, (O Prophet) “I seek refuge in the Lord of Daybreak,
  2. From the evil of whatever He has created,
  3. And from the evil of the night when it grows dark,
  4. And from the evil of those ˹witches casting spells by˺ blowing onto knots,
  5. And from the evil of an envier when they envy.”

There is no god but God, and God is the Greatest.

Surah An-Naas:

  1. Say, (O Prophet) “I seek refuge in the Lord of humankind,
  2. The Master of humankind,
  3. The God of humankind,
  4. From the evil of the lurking whisperer,
  5. Who whispers into the hearts of humankind,
  6. From among jinn and humankind.”

There is no god but God, and God is the Greatest.

Surah Al-Baqarah 1-5:

  1. Alif laaam miiim
  2. This is the Book! There is no doubt about it — a guide for those mindful ˹of Allah˺,
  3. Who believe in the unseen, establish prayer, and donate from what We have provided for them,
  4. And who believe in what has been revealed to you (O Prophet) and what was revealed before you, and have sure faith in the Hereafter.
  5. It is they who are ˹truly˺ guided by their Lord, and it is they who will be successful.

Surah Al-Baqarah 163:

Your God is ˹only˺ One God. There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him—the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.

The Throne Verse (Surah Al-Baqarah 255):

Allah – there is no god except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, but they encompass not a thing of His knowledge save what He wills. His Seat encompasses the heavens and the earth, and their preservation does not tire Him. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.

Surah Al-Baqarah 284-286:

  1. To Allah ˹alone˺ belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Whether you reveal what is in your hearts or conceal it, Allah will call you to account for it. He forgives whoever He wills, and punishes whoever He wills. And Allah is Most Capable of everything.
  2. The Messenger ˹firmly˺ believes in what has been revealed to him from his Lord, and so do the believers. They ˹all˺ believe in Allah, His angels, His Books, and His messengers. ˹They proclaim,˺ “We make no distinction between any of His messengers.” And they say, “We hear and obey. ˹We seek˺ Your forgiveness, our Lord! And to You ˹alone˺ is the final return.”
  3. Allah does not require of any soul more than what it can afford. All good will be for its own benefit, and all evil will be to its own loss. ˹The believers pray,˺ “Our Lord! Do not punish us if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord! Do not place a burden on us like the one you placed on those before us. Our Lord! Do not burden us with what we cannot bear. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our ˹only˺ Guardian. So grant us victory over the disbelieving people.”

Surah Al-Ahzab 56 :

Indeed, Allah and His angels blessing to the Prophet. O you who believe, pay your respects to the Prophet and greet him with full respect.

Pray for forgiveness:

I ask forgiveness from Allah the Almighty (3x).

Praising:

There is no god but Allah (33x).

Shahada:

I bear witness that there is no god but Allah. And I testify that the Prophet Muhammad is the messenger of Allah

Prophet Praise:

O Allah, give Your mercy to the Prophet Muhammad, O Allah, bestow mercy and greetings upon him.

O Allah, bestow Your mercy on Your beloved, our lord Muhammad, along with his family and companions (2x).

O Allah, bestow Your mercy on Your beloved, our lord Muhammad, along with his family and companions. Also bestow blessings and safety on them all.

Chanting:

Glory be to Allah with all His praise, Glory be to Allah and all praise be to Him (10x).

Glory be to Allah with all His praise, Glory be to Allah the Most Great.

Glory be to Allah, all praise be to Allah, there is no god but Allah, Allah is Greatest.

Praising Prayer:

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds, with the praise of those who are grateful, with praise that fulfills His blessings and is sufficient for the addition of His blessings. Our Lord, to You all praise is according to the majesty of Your face and the greatness of Your power. Our Lord, to You alone is all praise as praise is worthy of the glory and majesty of Your power. Glory be to You, we can not count Your praises as You praise Yourself. Only You is praise before pleasure. Only to You is praise after blessing. Only You will be praised when You bless us forever.
