Yasin and Prayer

1. يٰسۤ ۚ
2. وَالْقُرْاٰنِ الْحَكِيْمِۙ
3. اِنَّكَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَۙ
4. عَلٰى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيْمٍۗ
5. تَنْزِيْلَ الْعَزِيْزِ الرَّحِيْمِۙ
6. لِتُنْذِرَ قَوْمًا مَّآ اُنْذِرَ اٰبَاۤؤُهُمْ فَهُمْ غٰفِلُوْنَ
7. لَقَدْ حَقَّ الْقَوْلُ عَلٰٓى اَكْثَرِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ
8. اِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِيْٓ اَعْنَاقِهِمْ اَغْلٰلًا فَهِيَ اِلَى الْاَذْقَانِ فَهُمْ مُّقْمَحُوْنَ
9. وَجَعَلْنَا مِنْۢ بَيْنِ اَيْدِيْهِمْ سَدًّا وَّمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدًّا فَاَغْشَيْنٰهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُوْنَ
10. وَسَوَاۤءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَاَنْذَرْتَهُمْ اَمْ لَمْ تُنْذِرْهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ
11. اِنَّمَا تُنْذِرُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ الذِّكْرَ وَخَشِيَ الرَّحْمٰنَ بِالْغَيْبِۚ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِمَغْفِرَةٍ وَّاَجْرٍ كَرِيْمٍ
12. اِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْيِ الْمَوْتٰى وَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُوْا وَاٰثَارَهُمْۗ وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ اَحْصَيْنٰهُ فِيْٓ اِمَامٍ مُّبِيْنٍ ࣖ
13. وَاضْرِبْ لَهُمْ مَّثَلًا اَصْحٰبَ الْقَرْيَةِۘ اِذْ جَاۤءَهَا الْمُرْسَلُوْنَۚ
14. اِذْ اَرْسَلْنَآ اِلَيْهِمُ اثْنَيْنِ فَكَذَّبُوْهُمَا فَعَزَّزْنَا بِثَالِثٍ فَقَالُوْٓا اِنَّآ اِلَيْكُمْ مُّرْسَلُوْنَ
15. قَالُوْا مَآ اَنْتُمْ اِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَاۙ وَمَآ اَنْزَلَ الرَّحْمٰنُ مِنْ شَيْءٍۙ اِنْ اَنْتُمْ اِلَّا تَكْذِبُوْنَ
16. قَالُوْا رَبُّنَا يَعْلَمُ اِنَّآ اِلَيْكُمْ لَمُرْسَلُوْنَ
17. وَمَا عَلَيْنَآ اِلَّا الْبَلٰغُ الْمُبِيْنُ
18. قَالُوْٓا اِنَّا تَطَيَّرْنَا بِكُمْۚ لَىِٕنْ لَّمْ تَنْتَهُوْا لَنَرْجُمَنَّكُمْ وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُمْ مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ اَلِيْمٌ
19. قَالُوْا طَاۤىِٕرُكُمْ مَّعَكُمْۗ اَىِٕنْ ذُكِّرْتُمْۗ بَلْ اَنْتُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّسْرِفُوْنَ
20. وَجَاۤءَ مِنْ اَقْصَا الْمَدِيْنَةِ رَجُلٌ يَّسْعٰى قَالَ يٰقَوْمِ اتَّبِعُوا الْمُرْسَلِيْنَۙ
21. اتَّبِعُوْا مَنْ لَّا يَسْـَٔلُكُمْ اَجْرًا وَّهُمْ مُّهْتَدُوْنَ ۔
22. وَمَا لِيَ لَآ اَعْبُدُ الَّذِيْ فَطَرَنِيْ وَاِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُوْنَ
23. ءَاَتَّخِذُ مِنْ دُوْنِهٖٓ اٰلِهَةً اِنْ يُّرِدْنِ الرَّحْمٰنُ بِضُرٍّ لَّا تُغْنِ عَنِّيْ شَفَاعَتُهُمْ شَيْـًٔا وَّلَا يُنْقِذُوْنِۚ
24. اِنِّيْٓ اِذًا لَّفِيْ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِيْنٍ
25. اِنِّيْٓ اٰمَنْتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ فَاسْمَعُوْنِۗ
26. قِيْلَ ادْخُلِ الْجَنَّةَ ۗقَالَ يٰلَيْتَ قَوْمِيْ يَعْلَمُوْنَۙ
27. بِمَا غَفَرَ لِيْ رَبِّيْ وَجَعَلَنِيْ مِنَ الْمُكْرَمِيْنَ
28. وَمَآ اَنْزَلْنَا عَلٰى قَوْمِهٖ مِنْۢ بَعْدِهٖ مِنْ جُنْدٍ مِّنَ السَّمَاۤءِ وَمَا كُنَّا مُنْزِلِيْنَ
29. اِنْ كَانَتْ اِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَّاحِدَةً فَاِذَا هُمْ خٰمِدُوْنَ
30. يٰحَسْرَةً عَلَى الْعِبَادِۚ مَا يَأْتِيْهِمْ مِّنْ رَّسُوْلٍ اِلَّا كَانُوْا بِهٖ يَسْتَهْزِءُوْنَ
31. اَلَمْ يَرَوْا كَمْ اَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُمْ مِّنَ الْقُرُوْنِ اَنَّهُمْ اِلَيْهِمْ لَا يَرْجِعُوْنَ
32. وَاِنْ كُلٌّ لَّمَّا جَمِيْعٌ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُوْنَ ࣖ
33. وَاٰيَةٌ لَّهُمُ الْاَرْضُ الْمَيْتَةُ ۖاَحْيَيْنٰهَا وَاَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهَا حَبًّا فَمِنْهُ يَأْكُلُوْنَ
34. وَجَعَلْنَا فِيْهَا جَنّٰتٍ مِّنْ نَّخِيْلٍ وَّاَعْنَابٍ وَّفَجَّرْنَا فِيْهَا مِنَ الْعُيُوْنِۙ
35. لِيَأْكُلُوْا مِنْ ثَمَرِهٖۙ وَمَا عَمِلَتْهُ اَيْدِيْهِمْ ۗ اَفَلَا يَشْكُرُوْنَ
36. سُبْحٰنَ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَ الْاَزْوَاجَ كُلَّهَا مِمَّا تُنْۢبِتُ الْاَرْضُ وَمِنْ اَنْفُسِهِمْ وَمِمَّا لَا يَعْلَمُوْنَ
37. وَاٰيَةٌ لَّهُمُ الَّيْلُ ۖنَسْلَخُ مِنْهُ النَّهَارَ فَاِذَا هُمْ مُّظْلِمُوْنَۙ
38. وَالشَّمْسُ تَجْرِيْ لِمُسْتَقَرٍّ لَّهَا ۗذٰلِكَ تَقْدِيْرُ الْعَزِيْزِ الْعَلِيْمِۗ
39. وَالْقَمَرَ قَدَّرْنٰهُ مَنَازِلَ حَتّٰى عَادَ كَالْعُرْجُوْنِ الْقَدِيْمِ
40. لَا الشَّمْسُ يَنْۢبَغِيْ لَهَآ اَنْ تُدْرِكَ الْقَمَرَ وَلَا الَّيْلُ سَابِقُ النَّهَارِ ۗوَكُلٌّ فِيْ فَلَكٍ يَّسْبَحُوْنَ
41. وَاٰيَةٌ لَّهُمْ اَنَّا حَمَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ فِى الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُوْنِۙ
42. وَخَلَقْنَا لَهُمْ مِّنْ مِّثْلِهٖ مَا يَرْكَبُوْنَ
43. وَاِنْ نَّشَأْ نُغْرِقْهُمْ فَلَا صَرِيْخَ لَهُمْ وَلَاهُمْ يُنْقَذُوْنَۙ
44. اِلَّا رَحْمَةً مِّنَّا وَمَتَاعًا اِلٰى حِيْنٍ
45. وَاِذَا قِيْلَ لَهُمُ اتَّقُوْا مَا بَيْنَ اَيْدِيْكُمْ وَمَا خَلْفَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُوْنَ
46. وَمَا تَأْتِيْهِمْ مِّنْ اٰيَةٍ مِّنْ اٰيٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ اِلَّا كَانُوْا عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِيْنَ
47. وَاِذَا قِيْلَ لَهُمْ اَنْفِقُوْا مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللّٰهُ ۙقَالَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا لِلَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْٓا اَنُطْعِمُ مَنْ لَّوْ يَشَاۤءُ اللّٰهُ اَطْعَمَهٗٓ ۖاِنْ اَنْتُمْ اِلَّا فِيْ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِيْنٍ
48. وَيَقُوْلُوْنَ مَتٰى هٰذَا الْوَعْدُ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِيْنَ
49. مَا يَنْظُرُوْنَ اِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَّاحِدَةً تَأْخُذُهُمْ وَهُمْ يَخِصِّمُوْنَ
50. فَلَا يَسْتَطِيْعُوْنَ تَوْصِيَةً وَّلَآ اِلٰٓى اَهْلِهِمْ يَرْجِعُوْنَ ࣖ
51. وَنُفِخَ فِى الصُّوْرِ فَاِذَا هُمْ مِّنَ الْاَجْدَاثِ اِلٰى رَبِّهِمْ يَنْسِلُوْنَ
52. قَالُوْا يٰوَيْلَنَا مَنْۢ بَعَثَنَا مِنْ مَّرْقَدِنَا ۜهٰذَا مَا وَعَدَ الرَّحْمٰنُ وَصَدَقَ الْمُرْسَلُوْنَ
53. اِنْ كَانَتْ اِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَّاحِدَةً فَاِذَا هُمْ جَمِيْعٌ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُوْنَ
54. فَالْيَوْمَ لَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ شَيْـًٔا وَّلَا تُجْزَوْنَ اِلَّا مَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُوْنَ
55. اِنَّ اَصْحٰبَ الْجَنَّةِ الْيَوْمَ فِيْ شُغُلٍ فٰكِهُوْنَ ۚ
56. هُمْ وَاَزْوَاجُهُمْ فِيْ ظِلٰلٍ عَلَى الْاَرَاۤىِٕكِ مُتَّكِـُٔوْنَ ۚ
57. لَهُمْ فِيْهَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَّلَهُمْ مَّا يَدَّعُوْنَ ۚ
58. سَلٰمٌۗ قَوْلًا مِّنْ رَّبٍّ رَّحِيْمٍ
59. وَامْتَازُوا الْيَوْمَ اَيُّهَا الْمُجْرِمُوْنَ
60. اَلَمْ اَعْهَدْ اِلَيْكُمْ يٰبَنِيْٓ اٰدَمَ اَنْ لَّا تَعْبُدُوا الشَّيْطٰنَۚ اِنَّهٗ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِيْنٌ
61. وَاَنِ اعْبُدُوْنِيْ ۗهٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُّسْتَقِيْمٌ
62. وَلَقَدْ اَضَلَّ مِنْكُمْ جِبِلًّا كَثِيْرًا ۗاَفَلَمْ تَكُوْنُوْا تَعْقِلُوْنَ
63. هٰذِهٖ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِيْ كُنْتُمْ تُوْعَدُوْنَ
64. اِصْلَوْهَا الْيَوْمَ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَكْفُرُوْنَ
65. اَلْيَوْمَ نَخْتِمُ عَلٰٓى اَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَتُكَلِّمُنَآ اَيْدِيْهِمْ وَتَشْهَدُ اَرْجُلُهُمْ بِمَا كَانُوْا يَكْسِبُوْنَ
66. وَلَوْ نَشَاۤءُ لَطَمَسْنَا عَلٰٓى اَعْيُنِهِمْ فَاسْتَبَقُوا الصِّرَاطَ فَاَنّٰى يُبْصِرُوْنَ
67. وَلَوْ نَشَاۤءُ لَمَسَخْنٰهُمْ عَلٰى مَكَانَتِهِمْ فَمَا اسْتَطَاعُوْا مُضِيًّا وَّلَا يَرْجِعُوْنَ ࣖ
68. وَمَنْ نُّعَمِّرْهُ نُنَكِّسْهُ فِى الْخَلْقِۗ اَفَلَا يَعْقِلُوْنَ
69. وَمَا عَلَّمْنٰهُ الشِّعْرَ وَمَا يَنْۢبَغِيْ لَهٗ ۗاِنْ هُوَ اِلَّا ذِكْرٌ وَّقُرْاٰنٌ مُّبِيْنٌ ۙ
70. لِّيُنْذِرَ مَنْ كَانَ حَيًّا وَّيَحِقَّ الْقَوْلُ عَلَى الْكٰفِرِيْنَ
71. اَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا اَنَّا خَلَقْنَا لَهُمْ مِّمَّا عَمِلَتْ اَيْدِيْنَآ اَنْعَامًا فَهُمْ لَهَا مٰلِكُوْنَ
72. وَذَلَّلْنٰهَا لَهُمْ فَمِنْهَا رَكُوْبُهُمْ وَمِنْهَا يَأْكُلُوْنَ
73. وَلَهُمْ فِيْهَا مَنَافِعُ وَمَشَارِبُۗ اَفَلَا يَشْكُرُوْنَ
74. وَاتَّخَذُوْا مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ اٰلِهَةً لَّعَلَّهُمْ يُنْصَرُوْنَ ۗ
75. لَا يَسْتَطِيْعُوْنَ نَصْرَهُمْۙ وَهُمْ لَهُمْ جُنْدٌ مُّحْضَرُوْنَ
76. فَلَا يَحْزُنْكَ قَوْلُهُمْ ۘاِنَّا نَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّوْنَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُوْنَ
77. اَوَلَمْ يَرَ الْاِنْسَانُ اَنَّا خَلَقْنٰهُ مِنْ نُّطْفَةٍ فَاِذَا هُوَ خَصِيْمٌ مُّبِيْنٌ
78. وَضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلًا وَّنَسِيَ خَلْقَهٗۗ قَالَ مَنْ يُّحْيِ الْعِظَامَ وَهِيَ رَمِيْمٌ
79. قُلْ يُحْيِيْهَا الَّذِيْٓ اَنْشَاَهَآ اَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ ۗوَهُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلْقٍ عَلِيْمٌ ۙ
80. ۨالَّذِيْ جَعَلَ لَكُمْ مِّنَ الشَّجَرِ الْاَخْضَرِ نَارًاۙ فَاِذَآ اَنْتُمْ مِّنْهُ تُوْقِدُوْنَ
81. اَوَلَيْسَ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضَ بِقٰدِرٍ عَلٰٓى اَنْ يَّخْلُقَ مِثْلَهُمْ ۗبَلٰى وَهُوَ الْخَلّٰقُ الْعَلِيْمُ
82. اِنَّمَآ اَمْرُهٗٓ اِذَآ اَرَادَ شَيْـًٔاۖ اَنْ يَّقُوْلَ لَهٗ كُنْ فَيَكُوْنُ
83. فَسُبْحٰنَ الَّذِيْ بِيَدِهٖ مَلَكُوْتُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَّاِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُوْنَ

Prayer after Yasin (option):

اللّٰهُمَّ اِنّٓا نَسْتَحْفِظُكَ وَ نَسْتَوْدِعُكَ اَدْيَانَنَا وَاَنْفُسَنَا وَاَهْلَنَا وَاَوْلَادَنَا وَاَمْوَالَنَا وَكُلِّ شَيْءٍ اَعْطَيْتَنَا. اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْنَا وَإِيَّاهُمْ فِى كَنَفِكَ وَاَمَانِكَ وَجِوَارِكَ وَعِيَاذِكَ مِن كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ مَرِيدٍ وَجَبَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ وَذِى عَيْنٍ وَذِى بَغْيٍ وَمِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ ذِى شَرٍّ اِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ. اَللّٰهُمَّ جَمِّلْنَا بِالْعَافِيَةِ وَالسَّلَامَةِ وَحَقِّقنَا بِالتَّقْوٰى وَالْاِسْتِقَامَةِ وَاَعِذْناَ مِنْ مُوجِبَاتِ النَّدَامَةِ اِنَّكَ سَمِيْعُ الدُّعَاءِ. اَللّٰهُمَّ اغْفِرْلَنَا وَلِوَالِدِيْنَا وَلِاَوْلَادِنَا وَمَشَايِخِنَا وَلِاِخْوَانِنَا ِفِى الدِّينِ وَلِاَصْحَابِنَا وَاَحْبَابِنَا وَلِمَنْ اَحَبَّنَا فِيكَ وَلِمَنْ اَحْسَنَ اِلَيْنَا وَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَالْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ يَارَبَّ العَالَمِيْنَ. وَارْزُقْنَا كَمَالَ الْمُتَابَعَةِ لَهُ وَظَاهِرًا وَبَاطِنًا فِي عَافِيَةٍ وَسَلَامَةٍ بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَااَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ وَصَلِّ اَللّٰهُمَّ عَلَى عَبْدِكَ وَرَسُولِكَ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى اٰلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلِّمْ

Latin – ii=ee; uu=oo; au=aw; ay=ai; sy=sh; dh=d; th=t; dz=zh=z; sh=ts=s.

BismillaaHir rahmaanir rahiim.

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

1. Yaa siiin.
   Yaa seeen.
2. Wal qur-aanil hakiim.
   By the Quran, rich in wisdom!
3. Innaka laminal mursaliin.
   You ˹O Prophet˺ are truly one of the messengers
4. ‘Alaa shiraathim mustaqiim.
   upon the Straight Path
5. Tanziilal ‘aziizir rahiim.
   ˹This is˺ a revelation from the Almighty, Most Merciful,
6. Li tundzira qaumam maaa undzira aabaaa-uHum faHum ghaafiluun.
   so that you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, and so are heedless
7. Laqad haqqal qaulu ‘alaaa aktsariHim faHum laa yu’minuun.
   The decree ˹of torment˺ has already been justified against most of them, for they will never believe.
8. Innaa ja ’alnaa fiii a’naaqiHim aghlaalan faHiya ilal adzqaani faHum muqmahuun.
   ˹It is as if˺ We have put shackles around their necks up to their chins, so their heads are forced up,
9. Wa ja ‘alnaa mim baini aidiiHim sad-daw wa min khalfiHim sad-dan fa aghsyainaaHum faHum laa yubshiruun.
   and have placed a barrier before them and a barrier behind them and covered them ˹all˺ up, so they fail to see ˹the truth˺.
10. Wa sawaaa-un ‘alaiHim a-andzartaHum amlam tundzirHum laa yu’minuun.
    It is the same whether you warn them or not—they will never believe
11. Innamaa tundziru manittaba ‘adzdzikra wa khasyiyar rahmaana bil ghaibi fabasysyirHu bi maghfiratiw wa ajrin kariim.
    You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward.
12. Innaa nahnu nuhyil mautaa wanaktubu maa qad-damuu wa aatsaaraHum, wa kulla syai-in ahshainaaHu fiii imaamim mubiin.
    Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register.
13. Wadhrib laHum matsalan ash haabal qaryati idz jaaa-aHal mursaluun.
    Give them an example ˹O Prophet˺ of the residents of a town, when the messengers came to them.
14. Idz arsalnaaa ilaiHimutsnaini fa kadzdzabuu Humaa fa ‘azzaznaa bi tsaalitsin fa qaaluuu innaaa ilaikum mursaluun.
    When We sent to them two but they denied them, so We strengthened them with a third, and they said, “Indeed, we are messengers to you.”
15. Qaaluu maaa antum illaa basyarum mitslunaa wa maaa anzalar rahmaanu min syai-in in antum illaa takdzibuun.
    They said, “You are not but human beings like us, and the Most Merciful has not revealed a thing. You are only telling lies.”
16. Qaaluu rabbunaa ya’lamu innaaa ilaikum la mursaluun.
    They said, “Our Lord knows that we are messengers to you.
17. Wa maa ‘alainaaa illal balaaghul mubiin.
    And we are not responsible except for clear notification.”
18. Qaaluuu innaa tathayyarnaa bikum, la illam tantaHuu lanarjumannakum wa layamassannakum minnaa ‘adzaabun aliim.
    They said, “Indeed, we consider you a bad omen. If you do not desist, we will surely stone you, and there will surely touch you, from us, a painful punishment.”
19. Qaaluu thaaa-irukum ma ’akum, a-in dzukkirtum, bal antum qaumum musrifuun.
    They said, “Your omen is with yourselves. Is it because you were reminded? Rather, you are a transgressing people.”
20. Wa jaaa-a min aqshal madiinati rajuluy yas‘aa qaala yaa qaumit tabi ’ul mursaliin.
    And there came from the farthest end of the city a man, running. He said, “O my people, follow the messengers.
21. Ittabi ’uu mal laa yas alukum ajraw wa Hum muHtaduun.
    Follow those who do not ask of you [any] payment, and they are [rightly] guided. Follow those who do not ask of you [any] payment, and they are [rightly] guided.
22. Wa maa liya laaa ‘abudulladzii fatharanii wa ilaiHi turja ’uun.
    And why should I not worship He who created me and to whom you will be returned?
23. A-attakhidzu min duuniHiii aaliHatan iy yuridnir rahmaanu bidhurril laa tughni ‘annii syafaa ‘atuHum syai-aw wa laa yunqidzuun.
    Should I take other than Him [false] deities [while], if the Most Merciful intends for me some adversity, their intercession will not avail me at all, nor can they save me?
24. Inniii idzal lafii dhalaalim mubiin.
    Indeed, I would then be in manifest error
25. Inniii aamantu birabbikum fasma ’uun.
    Indeed, I have believed in your Lord, so listen to me.”
26. Qiilad khulil jannata qaala yaa laita qaumii ya’lamuun.
    It was said, “Enter Paradise.” He said, “I wish my people could know
27. Bimaa ghafaralii rabbii wa ja ‘alanii minal mukramiin.
    Of how my Lord has forgiven me and placed me among the honored.”
28. Wa maaa andzalnaa ‘alaa qaumiHii mim ba’diHii min jundim minas samaaa-i wa maa kunnaa munziliin.
    And We did not send down upon his people after him any soldiers from the heaven, nor would We have done so.
29. In kaanat illaa shaihataw waahidatan fa idzaa Hum khaamiduun.
    It was not but one shout, and immediately they were extinguished.
30. Yaa hasratan ‘alal ‘ibaad, ma ya’tiiHim mir rasuulin illa kaanuu biHii yastaHziuun.
    How regretful for the servants. There did not come to them any messenger except that they used to ridicule him.
31. Alam yarau kam aHlaknaa qablaHum minal quruuni annaHum ilaiHim laa yarji ’uun.
    Have they not considered how many generations We destroyed before them – that they to them will not return?
32. Wa in kullul lammaa jamii ’ul ladainaa muhdharuun.
    And indeed, all of them will yet be brought present before Us. And indeed, all of them will yet be brought present before Us.
33. Wa aayatul laHumul ardhul maitatu ahyainaaHaa wa akhrajnaa minHaa habban faminHu ya’kuluun.
    And a sign for them is the dead earth. We have brought it to life and brought forth from it grain, and from it they eat. And a sign for them is the dead earth. We have brought it to life and brought forth from it grain, and from it they eat.
34. Waja ‘alnaa fiiHa jannaatim min nakhiiliw wa ‘anaabiw wa fajjarnaa fiiHaa minal ’uyuun.
    And We placed therein gardens of palm trees and grapevines and caused to burst forth therefrom some springs –
35. Liya’ kuluu min tsamariHii wa maa ‘amilatHu aidiiHim afalaa yasykuruun.
    That they may eat of His fruit. And their hands have not produced it, so will they not be grateful?
36. Subhaanal ladzii khalaqal azwaaja kullaHaa mimmaa tumbitul ardhu wa min anfusiHim wa mimmaa laa ya’lamuun.
    Exalted is He who created all pairs – from what the earth grows and from themselves and from that which they do not know.
37. Wa aayatullaHumul lailu naslakhu minHun naHaara fa idzaa Hum muzhlimuun.
    And a sign for them is the night. We remove from it [the light of] day, so they are [left] in darkness.
38. Wasysyamsu tajrii limustaqarril laHaa, dzaalika taqdiirul ‘aziizil ‘aliim.
    And the sun runs [on course] toward its stopping point. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing.
39. Wal qamara qad-darnaaHu manaazila hattaa ‘aada kal ’urjuunil qadiim.
    And the moon – We have determined for it phases, until it returns [appearing] like the old date stalk.
40. Lasysyamsu yambaghii laHaaa an tudrikal qamara wa lallailu saabiqunnaHaar, wa kullun fii falakiy yasbahuun.
    It is not allowable for the sun to reach the moon, nor does the night overtake the day, but each, in an orbit, is swimming.
41. Wa aayatullaHum annaa hamalnaa dzurriyyataHum fil fulkil masyhuun.
    And a sign for them is that We carried their forefathers in a laden ship.
42. Wa khalaqnaa laHum mim mitsliHii maa yarkabuun.
    And We created for them from the likes of it that which they ride.
43. Wa innasya’ nughriqHum falaa shariikha laHum wa laa Hum yunqadzuun.
    And if We should will, We could drown them; then no one responding to a cry would there be for them, nor would they be saved
44. Illaa rahmatam minnaa wa mataa ’an ilaahiin.
    Except as a mercy from Us and provision for a time.
45. Wa idzaa qiilla laHumuttaquu maa baina aidiikum wa maa khalfakum la ’allakum turhamuun.
    But when it is said to them, “Beware of what is before you and what is behind you; perhaps you will receive mercy…”
46. Wa maa ta’tiiHim min aayatim min aayaati rabbiHim illaa kaanuu ‘anHaa mu’ridhiin.
    And no sign comes to them from the signs of their Lord except that they are from it turning away.
47. Wa idza qiila laHum anfiquu mimmaa razaqakumullaaHu qaalalladziina kafaruu lilladziina aamanuuu anuth ’imu mallau yasyaaa-ullaaHu ath ’amaHuuu in antum illaa fii dhalaalim mubiin.
    And when it is said to them, “Spend from that which Allah has provided for you,” those who disbelieve say to those who believe, “Should we feed one whom, if Allah had willed, He would have fed? You are not but in clear error.”
48. Wa yaquuluuna mataa Haadzal wa’du in kuntum shaadiqiin.
    And they say, “When is this promise, if you should be truthful?”
49. Maa yanzhuruuna illaa shaihataw waahidatan ta’khudzuHum waHum yakhish shimuun.
    They do not await except one blast which will seize them while they are disputing.
50. Falaa yastathii ’uuna taushiyataw wa laaa ilaaa aHliHim yarji ’uun.
    And they will not be able [to give] any instruction, nor to their people can they return.
51. Wa nufikha fish shuuri fa idzaa Hum minal ajdaatsi ilaa rabbiHim yansiluun.
    And the Horn will be blown; and at once from the graves to their Lord they will hasten.
52. Qaaluu yaa wailanaa mam ba ’atsanaa mim marqadinaa Haadzaa maa wa ’adar rahmaanu wa shadaqal mursaluun.
    They will say, “O woe to us! Who has raised us up from our sleeping place?” [The reply will be], “This is what the Most Merciful had promised, and the messengers told the truth.”
53. In kaanat illaa shaihataw waahidatan fa idzaaHum jamii ’ul ladainaa muhdharuun.
    It will not be but one blast, and at once they are all brought present before Us.
54. Fal yauma laa tuzhlamu nafsun syai-aw wa laa tujzauna illaa maa kuntum ta’maluun.
    So today no soul will be wronged at all, and you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do.
55. Inna ash-haabal jannatil yauma fii syughulin faakiHuun.
    Indeed the companions of Paradise, that Day, will be amused in [joyful] occupation –
56. Hum wa azwaajuHum fii zhilaalin ‘alal araaa-iki muttaki-uun.
    They and their spouses – in shade, reclining on adorned couches.
57. LaHum fiiHaa faakiHatuw wa laHum maa yad-da ’uun.
    For them therein is fruit, and for them is whatever they request [or wish]
58. Salaamun qaulam mir rabbir rahiim.
    [And] “Peace,” a word from a Merciful Lord.
59. Wamtaazul yauma ayyuHal mujrimuun.
    [Then He will say], “But stand apart today, you criminals.
60. Alam a’Had ilaikum yaa baniii aadama allaa ta’budusy syaithaan, innaHuu lakum ‘aduwwum mubiin.
    Did I not enjoin upon you, O children of Adam, that you not worship satan – [for] indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.
61. Wa ani’buduunii Haadzaa shiraathum mustaqiim.
    And that you worship [only] Me? This is a straight path.
62. Wa laqad adhalla minkum jibillan katsiraa, afalam takuunuu ta’qiluun.
    And he had already led astray from among you much of creation, so did you not use reason?
63. HaadziHii jaHannamul latii kuntum tuu ’aduun.
    This is the Hellfire which you were promised.
64. IshlauHal yauma bimaa kuntum takfuruun.
    [Enter to] burn therein today for what you used to deny.”
65. Alyauma nakhtimu ‘alaaa afwaaHiHim wa tukallimunaaa aidiiHim wa tasyHadu arjuluHum bimaa kaanuu yaksibuun.
    That Day, We will seal over their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will testify about what they used to earn.
66. Walau nasyaaa-u lathamasnaa ‘alaaa a’yuniHim fastabaqush shiraatha fa annaa yubshiruun.
    And if We willed, We could have obliterated their eyes, and they would race to [find] the path, and how could they see?
67. Walau nasyaaa-u lamasakhnaaHum ‘alaa makaanatiHim famastathaa ’uu mudhiyyaw walaa yarji ’uun.
    And if We willed, We could have deformed them, [paralyzing them] in their places so they would not be able to proceed, nor could they return.
68. Wa mannu ’ammirHu nunakkisHu fil khalqi afalaa ya’qiluun.
    And he to whom We grant long life We reverse in creation; so will they not understand?
69. Wa maa ‘allamnaaHusy syi’ra wa maa yambaghii laH, in Huwa illaa dzikruw wa qur-aanum mubiin.
    And We did not give Prophet Muhammad, knowledge of poetry, nor is it befitting for him. It is not but a message and a clear Qur’an
70. Liyundzira man kaana hayyaw wa yahiqqal qaulu ‘alal kaafiriin.
    To warn whoever is alive and justify the word against the disbelievers.
71. Awalam yarau annaa khalaqnaa laHum mimmaa ‘amilat aidiinaaa an ’aaman faHum laHaa maalikuun.
    Do they not see that We have created for them from what Our hands have made, grazing livestock, and [then] they are their owners?
72. WadzallalnaaHaa laHum faminHaa rakuubuHum wa minHaa ya’kuluun.
    And We have tamed them for them, so some of them they ride, and some of them they eat.
73. WalaHum fiiHaa manaafi ’u wa masyaaribu afalaa yasykuruun.
    And for them therein are [other] benefits and drinks, so will they not be grateful?
74. Wattakhadzuu min duunillaaHi aaliHatalla ’allaHum yunsharuun.
    But they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that perhaps they would be helped.
75. Laa yastathii ’uuna nashraHum waHum laHum jundum muhdharuun.
    They are not able to help them, and they [themselves] are for them soldiers in attendance.
76. Falaa yahzunka qauluHum, innaa na’lamu maa yusirruuna wa maa yu’linuun.
    So let not their speech grieve you. Indeed, We know what they conceal and what they declare.
77. Awalam yaral insaanu annaa khalaqnaaHu min nuthfatin fa idzaa Huwa khasiimum mubiin.
    Does man not consider that We created him from a [mere] sperm-drop – then at once he is a clear adversary?
78. Wa dharaba lanaa matsalaw wanasiya khalqaH, qaala may yuhyil ‘izhaama wa Hiya ramiim.
    And he presents for Us an example and forgets his [own] creation. He says, “Who will give life to bones while they are disintegrated?” And he presents for Us an example and forgets his [own] creation. He says, “Who will give life to bones while they are disintegrated?”
79. Qul yuhyiiHal ladziii ansya-aHaaa awwala marratiw wa Huwa bikulli khalqin ‘aliim.
    Say, “He will give them life who produced them the first time; and He is, of all creation, Knowing.”
80. Alladzii ja ’ala lakum minasy syajaril akhdhari naaran fa idzaaa antum minHu tuuqiduun.
    [It is] He who made for you from the green tree, fire, and then from it you ignite.
81. Awalaisal ladzii khalaqassamaawaati wal ardha biqaadirin ‘alaaa ay yakhluqa mitslaHum balaa wa Huwal khallaaqul ‘aliim.
    Is not He who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the likes of them? Yes, [it is so]; and He is the Knowing Creator.
82. Innamaaa amruHuuu idzaaa araada syai-an ay yaquula laHuu kun fa yakuun.
    His command is only when He intends a thing that He says to it, “Be,” and it is.
83. Fasubhaanalladzii biyadiHii malakuutu kulli syai-iw wa ilaiHi turja ’uun.
    So exalted is He in whose hand is the realm of all things, and to Him you will be returned.

Prayer after Yasin (option):
AllaaHumma innaa nastahfizhuka wa nastaudi ‘uka diinanaa wa anfusanaa wa aHlanaa wa aulaadanaa wa amwaalanaa wa kulla syai-in a’thaitanaa. AllaaHummaj’alnaa fii kanafika wa amaanika wa jiwaarika wa ‘iyaadzika min kulli syaithaanim mariidiw wa jabbaarin ‘aniidiw wa dzii ‘ainiw wa dzii baghyiw wa min syarri kulli dzii syarrin innaka ‘alaa kulli syai-in qadiir. AllaaHumma jammilnaa bil’aafiyati was salaamati wa haqqiqnaa bit taqwaa wal istiqaamati wa a ‘idznaa mim muujibaatin nadaamati innaka samii ‘ud du ‘aaa. AllaaHummaghfirlanaa wa li waalidiinaa wa li aulaadinaa wa li masyaa yikhinaa wa li ikhwaaninaa fid-diini wa li ash-haabinaa wa ahbaabinaa wa liman ahabbanaa fiika wa liman ahsana ilainaa wa lil mu’miniina wal mu’minaati wal muslimiina wal muslimaati yaa rabbal ‘aalamiin. War zuqnaa kamaalal mutaaba ‘ati laHu zhaaHiraw wa baathinan fii ‘aafiyatiw wa salaamatin birahmatika yaaa arhamar raahimiin. Wa shallillaaHumma ‘alaa ‘abdika wa rasuulika sayyidinaa muhammadiw wa ‘alaaa aaliHii wa shahbiHii wa sallim.

O Allah, indeed we ask for Your protection and surrender to You our religion, ourselves, our families, our children, our property and whatever You have given us. O Allah, may You place us in Your care, Your responsibility and Your protection from the tempting temptations of satan, cruel, unjust and disobedient people, and from the evil of criminals, indeed You are Almighty over all things. O Allah, give us health and safety, and grant us true piety and steadfastness, keep us from regret because truly You are the Listener of prayers. O Allah, forgive us, our parents, our children, our teachers, our religious brothers and sisters, our friends, those we love, those who love us because of You, those who do good to us, men and women who believe, men and women who are Muslim, O Lord of the universe. Grant us the perfection of following the teachings physically and spiritually, in a healthy and safe condition with Your grace, O the best of the Merciful of the merciful. O Allah, pour out mercy and safety on Your servant and Your messenger, our lord Prophet Muhammad SAW, along with his family and friends.
