Salah Reading Guide
1. Ablution:
نَوَيْتُ الْوُضُوْءَ لِرَفْعِ الْحَدَثِ الْأَصْغَرِ فَرْضًا لِلّٰهِ تَعَالَى
2a. Fajr intention:
اُصَلّى فَرْضَ الصُّبْحِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ مُسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةِ آدَاءً مَأْمُوْمًا إِمَامًا لِلَّهِ تَعَالَى
2b. Dhuhr intention:
اُصَلِّي فَرْضَ الظُّهْرِ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ مُسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةِ آدَاءً مَأْمُوْمًا لِإِمَامًا لِلَّهِ تَعَالَى
2c. Asr intention:
اُصَلِّي فَرْضَ الْعَصْرِ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ مُسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةِ آدَاءً مَأْمُوْمًا إِمَامًا لِلَّهِ تَعَالَى
2d. Maghrib intention:
اُصَلِّ فَرْضَ الْمَغْرِبِ ثَلَاثَ رَكَعَاتٍ مُسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةِ آدَاءً مَأْمُوْمًا إِمَامًا لِلَّهِ تَعَالَى
2e. Isha intention:
اُصَلِّي فَرْضَ الْعِشَاءِ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ مُسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةِ آدَاءً مَأْمُوْمًا إِمَامًا لِلَّهِ تَعَالَ
3. Takbiratul ihram:
اللهُ وَاللهُ اَكْبَرُ
4. Iftitah:
اَللهُ اَكْبَرُ كَبِيْرًا وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ كَثِيْرًا وَسُبْحَانَ اللهِ بُكْرَةً وَاَصِيْلًا. اِنِّى وَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِيَ لِلَّذِيْ فَطَرَالسَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضَ حَنِيْفًا مُسْلِمًا وَمَا اَنَا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِيْنَ. اِنَّ صَلَاتِيْ وَنُسُكِيْ وَمَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِيْ لِلّهِ رَبِّ الْعَا لَمِيْنَ. لاَ شَرِيْكَ لَهُ وَبِذَلِكَ اُمِرْتُ وَاَنَا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِيْنَ
5. Surah Al-Fatihah:
أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
سْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيْمِ . الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ . الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيم . مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ . اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ . صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ
6. 1st Surah; Surah Al-Kautsar (shortest):
اِنَّآ اَعْطَيْنٰكَ الْكَوْثَرَۗ فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْۗ اِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْاَبْتَرُ
6. 2nd Surah; Surah Al-Ikhlaash (general):
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيْمِ. قُلْ هُوَ اللهُ اَحَدٌ. اَللهُ الصَّمَدُ. لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُوْلَدْ. وَلَمْ يَكٌنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا اَحَدٌ
7. Bowing:
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّي العظيم، سُبْحَانَ رَبِّي العَظِيمِ، سُبْحَانَ رَبِّي العَظِيمِ
8. Standing slowly from bowing at the same time reading:
سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَه
Itidal:
رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ مِلْءُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمِلْءُ الأَرْضِ وَمِلْءُ مَا شِئْتَ مِنْ شَيْءٍ بَعْدُ
Qunut Prayer (2nd Rak’ah in Fajr; sunnah):
اَللّهُمَّ اهْدِنِىْ فِيْمَنْ هَدَيْتَ وَعَافِنِى فِيْمَنْ عَافَيْتَ وَتَوَلَّنِىْ فِيْمَنْ تَوَلَّيْتَ وَبَارِكْ لِىْ فِيْمَا اَعْطَيْتَ وَقِنِيْ شَرَّمَا قَضَيْتَ فَاِ نَّكَ تَقْضِىْ وَلاَ يُقْضَى عَلَيْكَ وَاِ نَّهُ لاَ يَذِلُّ مَنْ وَالَيْتَ وَلاَ يَعِزُّ مَنْ عَادَيْتَ تَبَارَكْتَ رَبَّنَا وَتَعَالَيْتَ فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلَى مَا قَضَيْتَ وَاَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَاَتُوْبُ اِلَيْكَ وَصَلَّى اللهُ عَلَى سَيِّدَنَا مُحَمَّدٍ النَّبِيِّ اْلاُمِّيِّ وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ
9. Prostration:
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَى وَبِحَمْدِهِ سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَى وَبِحَمْدِهِ سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَى وَبِحَمْدِهِ
10. Sitting between two prostrations:
بِّ اغْفِرْلِىْ وَارْحَمْنِىْ وَاجْبُرْنِىْ وَارْفَعْنِىْ وَازُقْنِىْ وَاهْدِنِىٌ وَعَا فِنِىْ وَاعْفُ عَنِّىْ
11. Initial Tasyahud:
لتَّحِيَّاتُ الْمُبَارَكَاتُ الصَّلَوَاتُ الطَّيِّبَاتُ لِلَّهِ السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِىُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى عِبَادِ اللَّهِ الصَّالِحِينَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِاَ . للَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلىَ مُحَمَّدٍ
12. End Tasyahud:
لتَّحِيَّاتُ الْمُبَارَكَاتُ الصَّلَوَاتُ الطَّيِّبَاتُ لِلَّهِ السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِىُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى عِبَادِ اللَّهِ الصَّالِحِينَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِاَ
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ.كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَآلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَبَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَآلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ
13. End Salah (Greetings):
ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّٰهِ
14. Prayer after Salah:
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ حَمْدَ الشَّاكِرِيْنَ حَمْدَ النَّاعِمِيْنَ حَمْدًا يُوَافِي نِعَمَهُ وَ يُكَافِىءُ مَزِيْدَهُ
يَا رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ كَمَا يَنْبَغِيْ لِجَلَالِ وَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيْمِ وَ عَظِيْمِ سُلْطَانِكَ
اَللهم صَلِّ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ
رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَا اِنْ نَسِيْنَا اَوْ اَخْطَاْنَا. رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَا اِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِنَا. رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ. وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا اَنْتَ مَوْلَانَا فَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِيْنَ
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ الْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ وَسَلَامٌ عَلَى الْمُرْسَلِينَ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
15. Duha intention (Sunnah):
اُصَلِّى سُنَّةَ الضَّحٰى رَكْعَتَيْنِ مُسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةِ اَدَاءً ِللهِ تَعَالَى
Prayer after Duha:
اَللهُمَّ اِنَّ الضُّحَآءَ ضُحَاءُكَ، وَالْبَهَاءَ بَهَاءُكَ، وَالْجَمَالَ جَمَالُكَ، وَالْقُوَّةَ قُوَّتُكَ، وَالْقُدْرَةَ قُدْرَتُكَ، وَالْعِصْمَةَ عِصْمَتُكَ
اَللهُمَّ اِنْ كَانَ رِزْقِى فِى السَّمَآءِ فَأَنْزِلْهُ وَاِنْ كَانَ فِى اْلاَرْضِ فَأَخْرِجْهُ وَاِنْ كَانَ مُعْسِرًا فَيَسِّرْهُ وَاِنْ كَانَ حَرَامًا فَطَهِّرْهُ وَاِنْ كَانَ بَعِيْدًا فَقَرِّبْهُ بِحَقِّ ضُحَاءِكَ وَبَهَاءِكَ وَجَمَالِكَ وَقُوَّتِكَ وَقُدْرَتِكَ آتِنِىْ مَآاَتَيْتَ عِبَادَكَ الصَّالِحِيْنَ
16. Tahajjud interntion (Sunnah):
اُصَلِّى سُنَّةً التَّهَجُّدِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ مُسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةِ ِللهِ تَعَالَى
Prayer after Tahajjud:
اَللهم رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ قَيِّمُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَاْلأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيْهِنَّ. وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ مَلِكُ السَّمَوَاتِ واْلأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيْهِنَّ. وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ نُوْرُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَاْلأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيْهِنَّ. وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ الْحَقُّ، وَوَعْدُكَ الْحَقُّ، وَلِقَاءُكَ حَقٌّ، وَقَوْلُكَ حَقٌّ، وَالْجَنَّةُ حَقٌّ، وَالنَّارُ حَقٌّ، وَالنَّبِيُّوْنَ حَقٌّ، وَمُحَمَّدٌ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَقٌّ، وَالسَّاعَةُ حَقٌّ. اَللهم لَكَ أَسْلَمْتُ، وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ، وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْتُ، وَبِكَ خَاصَمْتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ حَاكَمْتُ، فَاغْفِرْ لِيْ مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ وَمَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي. أَنْتَ الْمُقَدِّمُ وَأَنْتَ الْمُؤَخِّرُ لآ اِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ. وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ
Latin – ii=ee; uu=oo; au=aw; ay=ai; sy=sh; dh=d; th=t; dz=zh=z; sh=ts=s.
1. Ablution:
Nawaitul wudhuu-a liraf ‘il hadatsil ashghari fardhan lillaaHi ta ‘aalaa.
I intend to perform ablution to eliminate small impureness of fardu because of Allah Ta’ala.
2a. Fajr Intention:
Ushallii fardhash shubhi rak ‘ataini mustaqbilal qiblati adaa-an / ma’muuman / imaaman lillaaHi ta ‘aalaa.
I intend to pray two rak’ah of fardu Fajr prayer facing the Qibla because of Allah Ta’ala (salah alone) / Ma’mum (follower) because of Allah Ta’ala / Imam (leader) because of Allah Ta’ala.
2b. Dhuhr Intention:
Ushallii fardhazh zhuHri arba ‘a raka ‘aatin mustaqbilal qiblati adaa-an / ma’muuman / imaaman lillaaHi ta ‘aalaa.
I intend to pray four rak’ah of fardu Dhuhr prayer facing the Qibla because of Allah Ta’ala (salah alone) / Ma’mum (follower) because of Allah Ta’ala / Imam (leader) because of Allah Ta’ala.
2c. Asr Intention:
Ushalli fardhal ‘ashri arba ‘a raka ‘aatin mustaqbilal qiblati adaa-an / ma’muuman / imaaman lillaaHi ta ‘aalaa.
I intend to pray four rak’ah of fardu Asr prayer facing the Qibla because of Allah Ta’ala (salah alone) / Ma’mum (follower) because of Allah Ta’ala / Imam (leader) because of Allah Ta’ala.
2d. Maghrib Intention:
Ushalli fardhal maghribi tsalaatsa raka ‘aatin mustaqbilal qiblati adaa-an / ma’muuman / imaaman lillaaHi ta ‘aalaa.
I intend to pray three rak’ah of fardu Maghrib prayer facing the Qibla because of Allah Ta’ala (salah alone) / Ma’mum (follower) because of Allah Ta’ala / Imam (leader) because of Allah Ta’ala.
2e. Isha Intention:
Ushalli fardhal ‘isyaa-i arba ‘a raka ‘aatin mustaqbilal qiblati adaa-an / ma’muuman / imaaman lillaaHi ta ‘aalaa.
I intend to pray four rak’ah of fardu Isha prayer facing the Qibla because of Allah Ta’ala (salah alone) / Ma’mum (follower) because of Allah Ta’ala / Imam (leader) because of Allah Ta’ala.
3. Takbiratul Ihram:
AllaaHu Akbar.
Allah is the Greatest.
4. Iftitah:
AllaaHu akbaru kabiraw walhamdulillaaHi katsiiraa, wa subhaanallaaHi bukrataw wa ashiilaa, innii wajjaHtu wajHiya lilladzii fatharas samaawaati wal ardha haniifan muslimaw wa maa anaa minal musyrikiin. Inna shalaatii wa nusukii wa mahyaaya wa mamaatii lillaaHi rabbil ‘aalamiin. Laa syariikalaHu wa bidzalika umirtu wa anaa minal muslimiin.
Allah is Great, His Greatness is Perfect. Praise be to Allah, as much praise as possible. And Glory be to Allah all morning and evening. I turn my face to the One who created the heavens and the earth with complete sincerity and submission and I am not one of the polytheists. Indeed, my prayers, my worship, my life and my death are all for Allah, the Lord of the universe. There is no partner for Him and thus I was ordered and I am one of those who are Muslims.
5. A ‘uudzubillaaHi minasy syaithaanir rajiim.
I seek refuge in Allah from the temptations of the cursed satan.
Surah Al-Fatihah:
a.BismillaaHir rahmaanir rahiim.
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
b.Alhamdu lillaaHi rabbil ‘aalamiin.
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
c.Ar rahmaanir rahiim.
The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
d.Maaliki yaumid-diin.
Owner of the day of Judgment.
e.Iy yaaka na‘budu wa iy yaaka nasta ‘iin.
Only You do we worship and only You do we ask for help.
f.IHdinash shiraathal mustaqiim.
Guide us along the straight path.
g.Shiraathal ladziina an ‘amta ‘alaiHim ghairil maghdhuubi ‘alaiHim wa ladh dhaaalliin.
(That is) the path of those whom You have given favor to, not (the path of) those against whom there is wrath and not (nor the path of) those who go astray.
6. 1st Surah; Surah Al-Kautsar (shortest):
a. Innaaa a‘ thainaakal kautsar.
Indeed, We have given you (Prophet Muhammad) many blessings.
b. Fa shalli lirabbika wan har.
So, pray for your Lord and sacrifice!
c. Inna syaani-aka Huwal abtar.
Indeed, whoever hates you is the one who is cut off (from Allah’s mercy).
6. 2nd Surah; Surah Al-Ikhlaash (general):
a. Qul HuwallaaHu ahad.
Say (Muhammad), “He is Allah, the Almighty,
b. AllaaHush shamad.
Allah is the place to ask for everything,
c. Lam yalid wa lam yụulad.
(Allah) neither begot nor begotten,
d. Wa lam yakul laHuu kufuwan ahad.
And there is nothing equal to Him.”
7. Bowing:
Subhaana rabbiyal ‘azhiimi wa bihamdiH (3x).
Glory be to God the Most Great and praise me to Him (3x).
8. Standing slowly from bowing at the same time reading:
Sami ‘allaaHu liman hamidaH.
I heard people praising Him.
Itidal:
Rabbanaa lakal hamdu mil-ussamawaati wa mil-ul-ardhi wa mil-u maa syi’ta min syai-im ba’du.
O Allah, our Lord, all praise is to You, all the heavens and the earth, and all whatever You will after that.
Qunut Prayer (2nd Rak’ah in Fajr; sunnah):
AllaHummaHdinii fii man Hadaiit, wa ‘aafinii fii man ‘aafaiit, wa tawallanii fii man tawallaiit, wa baarik lii fii maaa a’thaiit, wa qinii birahmatika syarra maa qadhaiit, fa innaka taqdhii wa laa yuqdhaa ‘alaiik, wa innaHuu laa yadzillu man waalaiit, wa laa ya ’izzu man ‘aadaiit, tabaarakta rabbanaa wa ta ’aalaiit, fa lakal hamdu ‘alaa maa qadhaiit, wa astaghfiruka wa atuubu ilaiik, wa shallallaaHu ‘alaa sayyidinaa muhammadinin nabiyyil ummuyyi wa ‘alaa aaaliHi wa shahbiHii wa sallam.
O Allah, guide us as you have guided us. And give us health as those you have given health to. And take care of us as those you have taken care of. And bless us with what You have given us. And save us from the dangers of evil that You have determined. So truly it is You who punishes and is not subject to the law. So actually do not despise the people you lead. And it is not honorable for those whom You make enemies of. Glory be to You, O our Lord, and Most High are You. Glory to You is all praise above what You punish. I ask forgiveness from You and I repent to You. (And may Allah) bestow mercy and prosperity on our lord Prophet Muhammad, his family and friends.
9. Prostration:
Subhaana rabbiyal a’laa wa bihamdiH (3x).
Glory be to God the Most High and praise me to Him (3x).
10. Sitting between two prostrations:
Rabbighfirlii, warhamnii, wajburnii, warfa’nii, warzuqnii, waHdinii, wa ’aafinii, wa’fu ‘annii.
O my Rabb, forgive me, bless me, suffice me, raise my rank, give me sustenance, give me guidance, make me healthy, and forgive me.
11. Initial Tasyahud:
Attahiyyaatul mubaarakaatush shalawaatuth thayyibaatulillaaH. Assalaamu ‘alaika ayyuHan nabiyyu wa rahmatullaaHi wabarakaatuH. Assalaamu ‘alainaa wa ‘alaa ‘ibaadillaaHish shaalihiin. AsyHadu an laa ilaaHa illallaaH, wa asyHadu anna muhammadar rasuulullaaH. AllaHumma shalli ‘alaa sayyidinaa muhammad.
All honor and blessings, happiness and goodness belong to Allah. Peace be upon the Prophet Muhammad, as well as his mercy and blessings. Salvation is poured out upon us and upon all God’s pious servants. I testify that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and I testify that the Prophet Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, O Allah, bestow mercy on the Prophet Muhammad.
12. End Tasyahud:

AllaHumma shalli ‘alaa sayyidinaa muhammad, wa ‘alaa aaali sayyidinaa muhammad, kamaa shallaita ‘alaa sayyidinaa ibraaHiim, wa ‘alaa aaali sayyidinaa ibraaHiim, wabaarik ‘alaa sayyidinaa muhammad, wa ‘alaa aaali sayyidina muhammad, kamaa baarakta ‘alaa sayyidinaa ibraaHiim, wa ‘alaa aaali sayyidinaa ibraaHiim. Fil ‘aalamiina innaka hamiidum majiid.

And bestow mercy on the family of the Prophet Muhammad, as You once gave mercy to the Prophet Ibrahim and his family, and bestow blessings on the Prophet Muhammad and his family, as You once gave blessings to the Prophet Ibrahim and his family. Throughout the universe, You are the Most Praised and Glorious.
13. End Salah (Greetings):
Assalaamu ‘alaikum wa rahmatullaaH (gerakan kepala ke kanan kemudian ke kiri).
May Allah’s safety and mercy be upon you (head movement to the right then to the left).
14. Prayer after Salah:
BismillaHir rahmanir rahim, alhamdu lillaahi rabbil ‘aalamiin, hamdasy syaakiriin, hamdannaa ‘imiin, hamday yuwaafii ni ‘amaHuu wa yukaafi-u maziidah. Yaa rabbanaa lakal hamdu kamaa yam baghii lijalaali wajHika wa ‘azhiimi sulthaanik. AllaaHumma shalli ‘alaa sayyidinaa Muhammad, wa ‘alaa aaali sayyidina muhammad. Rabbanaa laa tu-aakhidznaaa in nasiinaaa au akhtha’ naa, rabbanaa wa laa tahmil ‘alainaaa ishran kamaa hamaltaHuu ‘alalladziina min qablinaa, rabbanaa wa laa tuhammilnaa maa laa thaaqata lanaa biH, wa’fu ‘annaa, waghfir lanaa, warhamnaaa, anta maulaanaa fanshurnaa ‘alal qaumil kaafiriin. Subhaana rabbika rabbil ‘izzati ‘ammaa yashifuun, wa salaamun ‘alal mursaliin, walhamdu lillaaHi rabbil ‘aalamiin.
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds, with the praise of those who are grateful, with praise that fulfills His blessings and is sufficient for the addition of His blessings. Our Lord, to You all praise is according to the majesty of Your face and the greatness of Your power. Our Lord, to You alone is all praise as praise is worthy of the glory and majesty of Your power. O Allah, give Your mercy to the Prophet Muhammad and the family of the Prophet Muhammad. Our Lord! Do not punish us if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord! Do not place a burden on us like the one you placed on those before us. Our Lord! Do not burden us with what we cannot bear. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our (only) Guardian. So grant us victory over the disbelieving people. Glory be to your God, God who has the power of what they say. And prosperity was bestowed upon the apostles. And all praise be to Allah, Lord of all the worlds.
15. Duha Intention (Sunnah):
Ushallii sunnatadh dhuhaa rak ‘ataini mustaqbilal qiblati adaa-an lillaaHi ta ‘aalaa.
I intend to perform the sunnah Duha prayer two rak’ah facing the Qibla, because of Allah Ta’ala.
Prayer after Duha:
O Allah, that the time of duha is Your time of duha, that majesty is Your majesty, beauty is Your beauty, strength is Your strength, power is Your power, and protection is Your protection. O Allah, if my sustenance is still in the sky, send it down, and if it is in the earth, take it out, if it is difficult, make it easy, if it is forbidden, make it holy, if it is still far away, bring it closer, thanks to Your time of duha, Your majesty, Your beauty, Your strength and Your power, bestow on us everything that You have bestowed on Your righteous servants.
16. Tahajjud intention (Sunnah):
I intend to perform the sunnah prayer of Tahajud two rakaat facing the Qibla because of Allah Ta’ala.
Prayer after Tahajjud:
O Allah, praise be to You, You are the upholder of the heavens, the earth and the creatures in it. Praise be to You, You are the ruler of the heavens, the earth and the creatures in it. Praise be to You, You are the light of the heavens, the earth and the creatures in it. Praise be to You, You are Most True. Your promises are true. The meeting with You in the future is true. Your word is true. Heaven is real. Hell is like that too. The prophets are right. Likewise, the Prophet Muhammad SAW is right. Doomsday is true. O my Lord, only to You I surrender. Only in You do I believe. To You I surrender. Only to You I return. Because of You I am willing to fight. Only You are the basis of my decision. Therefore, forgive my past and future sins, the sins I hide and those I reveal, and other sins that You know better than I do. You are the Most First and You are the Most Later. Ther e is no god but You. There is no effort and strength except Allah’s help.
All honor and blessings, happiness and goodness belong to Allah. Peace be upon the Prophet Muhammad, as well as his mercy and blessings. Salvation is poured out upon us and upon all God’s pious servants. I testify that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and I testify that the Prophet Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, O Allah, bestow mercy on the Prophet Muhammad. And bestow mercy on the family of the Prophet Muhammad, as You once gave mercy to the Prophet Ibrahim and his family, and bestow blessings on the Prophet Muhammad and his family, as You once gave blessings to the Prophet Ibrahim and his family. Throughout the universe, You are the Most Praised and Glorious.
